The Hits es un álbum recopilatorio de REO Speedwagon. Contiene éxitos como "Can't Fight This Feeling" y "Keep on Loving You", así como nuevos temas "Here with Me" y "I Don't Want to Lose You".

"Here with Me" se ubicó entre los 20 primeros en el Billboard Hot 100. Sería el último sencillo con el baterista Alan Gratzer y el guitarrista Gary Richrath, ya que ambos dejaron la banda dentro del año siguiente al lanzamiento de este álbum. El álbum ha vendido más de cuatro millones de copias en los Estados Unidos, lo que lo llevó a ser cuatro veces platino.
